Get Your Boots On and Make Your Way to Dancin’ in the Dirt 2009!
People Helping Horses will be hosting our 2nd annual Open House at the PHH barn in Arlington, to be followed by Dancin' in the Dirt Dinner, Dance, and Auction.
Doors open at 10:00am to the public. Meet and greet with our resident rescue horses, board members, and volunteers. Watch the Washington Mounted Shooters compete and purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win great prizes! Concessions and refreshments will be available on-site.
We’ll kick the evening into high gear at 6:00pm with the silent auction, packed full of one-of-a-kind art, handcrafts, and much, much more. A delicious pit BBQ dinner with all the fixings will start at 6:30pm and the live auction begins at 7:30pm. Enjoy live music while you eat your meal and peruse the many wonderful auction items available, and kick up your heels while square dancing with our Caller Cuer Team of Dennis and Sharon Restorff.
All proceeds from the event will benefit People Helping Horses and our current programs, including the Leg Up for Kids Therapeutic Riding program. So come on out, have a good time, and support a worthy cause.
