Boukra

A flashy Arab gelding with plenty of spirit to match, Boukra came to us with a lot of emotional baggage as a result of being kept as a stallion in a stall with a small tournout paddock for the first seven years of his life.  Our trainers have taken their time to make sure his ground work is solid and he has confidence in himself. He’s made incredible progress and his confidence has grown tremendously. He is very rideable at this point but he still needs an experienced rider. Boukra has a lot to teach about riding with awareness and sensitivity for someone that is willing to listen.

June 2011 Update:

Boukra is currently spending time in a loving foster home, where he is able to live as a companion horse with ample turn-out.  We are so happy that Boukra has been given this amazing opportunity!
