Recently began working under-saddle. Will be entering professional training in January

Bo is one of 8 wild horses captured in February 2009.  The horses were abandoned on 50 acres in Skagit County for an unknown amount of time.  Bo was a one of two stallions in the herd, but has since been gelded.  He handled the transition like a dream; it’s hard to believe he was ever a stallion.  Bo came to us a bit of a renegade.  He was very touchy about his feet and took some time to settle in.  After working with our trainers, Bo’s ground manners are in good order and he has been moving quickly through the training program.

March 2011 Update

Bo has been working very hard the last couple of months – in January he entered professional training and has had over 60 days under saddle.  Bo is a quick learner, and everyone working with him has been impressed by this willing student.  Bo is currently available for adoption, please contact People Helping Horses if you are interested in learning more about Bo.

Bo has found a forever home!  We could not have asked for a better home for Bo.  We wish Bo, and his new owner Barb Apple the best of luck!
