Cookie is a three-year old QH type mare that came to PHH through Skagit County Animal Control in September 2009. When the county seized her she tragically had a halter grown into her face and she was terrified of human interaction. After extensive confidence building, we believe that Cookie may have found her forever home! The family who graciously agreed to foster her only three months ago has decided that she’s the horse for them. Cookie is now back at the barn to be started under saddle. Considering how well she did with ground work and wearing the saddle before she left, training should go fairly quickly.
