Crystal is one of six horses seized by Skagit County Animal Control in March 2010. All of the horses were severely underweight with rain rot, bad feet, and teeth that were in desperate need of floating.  Despite the rough circumstances she came from, Crystal is a curious and loving horse!

2011 Fall Update:

After being started under saddle this past summer, Crystal is now in full training at our Woodinville location, Paradise Stables.  We are hoping that her training will progress and that she will be available for adoption early in 2012.

June 2011 Update:

Following a restful winter on pasture in California, Crystal returned to People Helping Horses this spring. She caught the eye of one of our volunteers who approached us about sponsorship opportunities. Crystal is currently being sponsored and is thriving under Alex’s guidance and attention. She has come such a long way in gaining trust with humans and we can’t wait to see what this sweet little girl can do!
