Comet
Comet is one of eight horses that were abandoned and left to run wild in Skagit county. He was thought to be a yearling but on examination of his teeth we discovered he’s over two. He’s spent the majority of his time with us growing up and getting used to just being a horse. He’s a fun, laid back guy who is going to make a wonderful mount for someone.
June 2011 Update:
Comet will be spending the summer on pasture not far from the PHH facility with a group of additional rescues. He has had quite a growth spurt and is continuing to recover physically with help from his bodywork sessions. We are excited to see what this fun-loving guy can do once he is able to enter the training program!
