Ginger

Breed:
Thoroughbred
Color:
Bay

A lovely young Thoroughbred, Ginger and her best buddy Mary Ann came to PHH from a breeding barn that was going out of business. Still young and growing, this darling girl has her ground training in place and has even started under saddle. Unfortunately, donations are down and we cannot afford to continue with her training at this time. So, she’s out on pasture with her friends, enjoying room to run and some sunshine.

June 2011 Update:

Ginger has spent the last few months in the training program reviewing her ground work before and beginning to work under saddle.  Unfortunately, the organization did not have enough funding to keep her in the training program throughout the summer.  Therefore, Ginger will spend the next few months out on pasture with a group of additional rescues not far from  the facility.  We are excited for the time when she will once again be able to enter training and be one step closer to finding a forever home!
