Jack is one of six horses seized by Skagit County Animal Control in March 2010. All of the horses were severely underweight with rain rot, bad feet, and teeth. The first order of business for Jack was to geld him, which has been done. He recovered nicely and is now out on pasture with several other PHH horses. He’s curious about humans and seems very interested in learning more about them, so we are very hopeful that this pint-sized boy will become someone’s best friend once he’s progressed through the PHH training program.
June 2011 Update:
Jack will be spending the summer on pasture not far from the barn with a group of additional PHH horses; and he is ready to move up into the training program as soon as a spot becomes available. We are looking forward to the day when Jack is able to enter the training program as we have big hopes for this little guy!
