JoJo is a precious miniature mare we took in as an owner surrender. In foster care until recently, we worked to get her weight down to a more manageable level. She is also totally blind in one eye, after having sustained an injury from a tree in pasture years before. In spite of this, JoJo functions very well. JoJo has been a wonderful addition to our PHH family. 

June 2011 Update:

JoJo is enjoying her reign as the People Helping Horses mascot. With her gentle spirit and endless patience, she makes the perfect mini-ambassador! This summer she has the opportunity to enjoy some time on pasture in a foster home with one of our long time volunteers and supporters.  Thank you Laura for providing this opportunity for JoJo!
