Mocha is an adorable paint mare that PHH acquired with plans to start a children’s riding program.  That program morphed into therapeutic riding and while Mocha is a great horse, she did not quite have the temperament required for such demanding work.  With 18 months of professional training, including cow work, this little mare is going to make someone special very happy!

2010 4th Qtr Update:

Mocha has a new home!  People Helping Horses is thrilled that Mocha has been adopted into a wonderful home and we wish her and her new family all the best in the years to come.

Pat and Brad wanted to share that:

She’s doing great and giving us quite a few laughs.
 
Brad is really bonding with her. Whenever he works in her stall, she stays close, looking over his shoulder. Mocha likes to take his hat off, pick his pockets and even untie his shoes. He was up on a ladder in her stall, putting up a light. He felt her nudging him, but he didn’t realize that she had untied both his shoes until he went to get down from the ladder.
 
We love her! Can’t wait to get her on the trail.
