June 2011 Update:

Spirit has been hard at work in the People Helping Horses training program.  She has been learning how to lunge and ground-drive (with the hopes that she will be able to pull a cart).  Thanks to a donation from a local 4H group, we now have a mini-driving harness; Spirit has been practicing wearing all of the gear and has passed every new test with flying colors.  She has become much more socialized and enjoys attention from the visitiors to the barn.  She is currently available for adoption and waiting to find a new home!

Spirit was delivered to her new home today in Carnation, WA.  PHH would like to thank the Lewis family for providing a new home for Spirit, and we wish everyone the best of luck!
