Saydee

Success Story

Saydee’s extremely emaciated state garnered quite a few gasps from the staff when she arrived at PHH. After three days in a trailer without food or water–and who knows how long before that without proper care–she was in a sad state. Thankfully, time and quality care have improved Saydee’s physical and mental demeanor, and we are guardedly optimistic about her prognosis. Her tendency to rear while being lead is disappearing and her ground manners are improving each day. Though still somewhat buddy bound to Two Tone, the gelding that came in with her, she is becoming more easy to catch. Her sweet disposition and willingness to learn, along with the training and care she is now receiving, assure that she will soon earn her happily ever after. Update 10/27/08: Saydee has been adopted by one of our star volunteers, Cindy Buckingham. Congratulations to both!
